Les Miserable - Live at the O2Soho Transfer is very proud to have been the transfer facility for Les Miserables in concert - The 25th Anniversary live from the O2

For the 25th Anniversary, Cameron Mackintosh in association with Universal Pictures staged 2 live performances of the beloved and hugely succesful theatre show Les Miserables, at the O2 in London.

The production features a huge star studded cast of over 300 actors and musicians. Including Alfie Boe as ‘Jean Valjean’, Nick Jonas as ‘Marius’, Norm Lewis as ‘Javert’, Matt Lucas as ‘Thénardier’, Lea Salonga as ‘Fantine’, Jenny Galloway as ‘Madame Thénardier’, Katie Hall as ‘Cosette’ and the casts of the Original and Anniversary Productions along with members of the Original 1985 London cast.

The live performances were filmed with 17 x HD cameras, directed by Nick Morris and produced by Brett Sullivan and Dionne Orrom. The rushes were taken to Soho Transfer to ingest the 102 hours of footage overnight and prepare the timelines for the production company Steam Motion & Sound to begin editing the following day. The final edit was then delivered back to Soho Transfer to convert to 23.98PsF and master to HDCAM SR with full 5.1 mix for the upcoming Cinema, DVD & Blu-Ray release in November 2010.

We are very proud to have been responsible for mastering the final deliverables to Universal Pictures, and look forward to seeing the final products.
